The biggest danger to achieving your dreams is when you don't actually believe it can happen.
There is such a big difference between imagining something and believing it. When you imagine something, it's fiction -- a movie, a story.
But when you BELIEVE your vision, it becomes part of your life. Part of your future. Your actions naturally draw you to the eventual occurrence of your dream. Like a magnet.
Think about your dreams today. Are you imagining them, or believing them?

If you're a photographer or other creative busines

If you're a photographer or other creative business owner, comparison has probably been stealing your joy. We compare ourselves to everything and everyone. We think: "my skills aren't as good as that person, so I can't be successful:. Or, "my skills are better than that person, why am I not as successful? We compare our photos, our business, our style/weight/hair/fitness, happiness, and lifestyle to others, and to make matters worse, we create a fictional reality for others where we don't or can't measure up. ⁣
Try to be on the lookout for when you compare yourself or your business to someone else. Then take these steps:⁣
1. Be clear on what you want. Is what you're comparing yourself to what you really want your life to be? Or is it just an excuse to feel bad about yourself?⁣
2. If you see something you want in your life, think about how to get there. What would you need to learn? What would you need to change?⁣
3. Take action on those things. Even a small action toward your goals is better than any amount of time wasted in comparison.⁣
4. Feel confident that you're becoming the best version of yourself. While you can use someone else's achievements as inspiration, it's only inspiration for YOU, Your version of that goal will look different than theirs. ⁣
⁣
Anyone else's reality is none of your business. The only thing you can control is yourself. So go ahead and be inspired, but stop at comparison. It's a waste of time and energy.
